Wrath wisdom needed - bad backs / office chairs...

So I've had a bad back since moving to a new job some months ago as the first office chair I had was a crock of s**t. Upgraded to a couple of different ergonomic chairs (one of which I'd used happily enough before) but to no avail. Did physio also but was useless. Now thinking of getting into the realms of modifying with seat cushions, lower back supports etc but overwhelmed by the choice and variety of prices. Any recommendations??

I'm quite a tall git if that helps.
