I've got his Dominion to read too. It seems like a British counterpart to Philip Roth's
The Plot Against America, which was superb. Like Roth, it's a what-if novel: what if, in 1940 Churchill hadn't become PM, but the Appeasement advocate Lord Halifax had instead. Britain then negotiates peace with Hitler's Germany. That's all I know about it.
