My blummin' Sky box is monked up

I can watch live telly but I can't access the planner, use record, pause etc...

Anyone else had problems?

I've done a big giylf but they're not helping. I've got three options left - full system restart ( which means I'll lose everything), turn it off overnight ,or summon a massive smell. Oh, I could ask a Sky boffin to come round, or buy a new box (that's five)
