He's never been given a fair chance really. Even Hughton, who brought him in, dropped him

unfairly to play RVW. The Adams came in and preferred to play with no strikers at all for a chunk of one game rather than play Hooper.

As for the not fit business who knows but Adams routinely reels out the not fit or minor injury line to the press. he said the same about Pilkington who denied it was the case and was then immediately fit to play for Cardiff. he also said the same about Bassong who was immediately fit to play for Watford. Fact is Hooper has been back from injury since mid September and he didn't start a match until the end of November.
