well..........

i agree to some extent - lets just say U2 prob care "less" about chart ratings than younger groups!

But thats my point - many bands dont last long enough to hear that their music has changed!

pink floyd, the stones, bowie - their music has changed and its only noticable as they've still been relatively successful in the last decade......
