I was burgled in Berlin - in a top floor flat!
Must have come over the roofs and dropped onto the balcony as they had put a half brick through the glass door.
They only took stuff that belonged to me (eg. not the mini-hifi that came with the flat). Worst was they took a shoulder bag to carry stuff and it had my passport in one of the side pockets.
It's an awful feeling though that someone you don't know has been in your home. Die Polizei came and dusted for prints (that stuff does *not* come off easily) but I never heard if they caught the f**kers.
