It's not a moral code

It's just not being certain that the evidence is overwhelming.

No supporter this morning will think that things are currently going well. The difference is that some of us don't necessarily believe that sacking Neil Adams today is the solution.

As I said below, that may change as we head in to December. Support for Adams now doesn't mean 'infinite patience'. It just means we're not ready to pull the trigger yet.
