Then he took over and instilled belief in the whole club.

I don't think I've ever felt more proud of a manager than when I saw him smiling up to the Directors Box at the Millennium Stadium after Birmingham beat us. (I was quite near the front/halfway line). It was almost like "don't worry, we'll do it" - and we did.

I completely understand Delia's "infinite patience". The bad was terrible - but it was definitely outweighed by the good.
