Exasperation sometimes but is that not precisely what this sort of forum is for?

We are all fans. We a want what's best for the club. Our opinions on how that is achieved will differ from time to time. I do not accept though that because someone has played football professionally that automatically means their opinion is any more valid than a fan who has probably watched far more football over the years or indeed that if that player becomes a manager then their decisions are beyond scrutiny. Yes players can bring a different perspective to things and an insight into areas we can't access but fundamentally why is our opinion on the merits of players we watch week in week out any less valid?

Anyway plenty more games to go this season and if one thing is for sure this won't be the last time I moan on here, even if we do end up getting promoted. Most fans only moan because they care! I probably overdo it sometimes but like Alaistair Cook I only have our best interests at heart!
