Who here knows nice people, who believe in this stuff?

I mean, I know people who think are cool, good listeners, make good decisions, are married, doing well in their jobs....

Then in passing (like recently), I went "I saw a documentary about how one guy survived the collapse of the towers and even dropped from the 24th floor to the 15th describing the feeling as 'surfing on dust' "

To which she went "There were no planes that day, I've seen actual proof that shows you there there weren't any planes"

Now, not being able to end that kind of discussion well, or the point of engaging in it by questioning the obvious, I just respect her opinion, but don't pass any further comment

I assume it's just a great form of escapism. It's just highly bizarre when they come out with the odd bits
