you'd best not have a prang - as I doubt you'd be insured?

My aunt/uncle are in the process of losing their house and lifetime's savings because their son had a prang whilst speeding, turning a passenger into a quadriplegic in the process, and the insurer is suing them all because they made false declarations when renewing the policy he was on. Whether or not DVLA have a record, you know you committed the offence so you might be on dodgy ground on that score depending on what the insurers asked and what your policy requires you to disclose.

Not to get all melodramatic, but I think the points/fine would be the least of my worries here, tbh. I'd stick to public transport until its sorted out and you've squared it away with the insurer to be on the safe side.
