Surely the only way to enforce this effectively is not to allow clubs to be promoted
if they have not complied with FFP. Imposing fines after they have got to the prem is a waste of time, particularly with the two leagues effectively being different jurisdictions so the prem refuses to enforce fines levied by the football league.
Fair play to the football league for taking this stance. i guess its all they can really do in the circumstances but what should have happened right from the outset was an agreement between the premier league and the football league that only teams adhering to FFP can win promotion.
I may however change my mind if we do not comply this season!
