It's an HBO thing

Think it's coming to Atlantic soon, but I load it down instead.

The premise is basically a shout load of people just disappear one day - millions - and it focuses on how the remaining communities try to come to terms with it, religious nuts proclaiming they know why, insurance companies paying out 'departed compensation' police force struggling to control the aftermath without having any clue what caused it etc. It's incredibly subtle, brilliant use of music and silence, and has Liv Tyler and Christopher Ecclestons in it.
