Wouldn't it be brilliant if Wilshere went abroad?

Went off to Dortmund or Valencia or Roma or somesuch and learned NEW THINGS.

Money isn't the problem with the England team in isolation. It doesn't create lazy players.

However it stops players going abroad and learning.

Italy has a similar stay at home culture and their last two World Cups have been complete disasters.

Although of course the issue there is that men just want to be close to their mummies.
