I think it's all nonsense
as MP says, we're more than happy spending ?500,000 plus wages for some useless player like Hughes, surely the manager is an even more important position and one you should expect to pay good money for.
They don't want to sack him, end of. I'm resigned to that. I just wish they'd be honest because the financial side of things - especially when you factor in the money we'll get from Ashton - is not an issue or else no-one would ever sack their manager. True, fewer do these days - and that is partly because of money - but then not many clubs have absolute idiots like NW running their team.
