Worthy's Neglect Of Youth Team

Is a disgrace IMHO.

Could anyone see Eadie, Sutton, Bellamy etc getting a run of games under Worthy?

Bellers would have opened his mouth just the once and been packed off somewhere on loan, he'd then have had a public slating about how he needs to "grow up" and get his "head right", shortly before being sold to someone like Luton for ?40'000.

He would have told Eadie that his game needed to be about "more than pace and being able to cross the ball".

Sutton would have been turned into a right sided midfielder-"Chris hasn't got what it takes to play as a striker, I want him to knuckle down and do as he is told" type of thing.

The current crop looks very good & as Jim says, and has said for a while, Spillane looks the mutts nuts & so do a lot of the others. If they were good enough, they'd be in-other clubs took the risk (Soton-Lescott, Derby-Huddlestone, Leeds-Lennon/Milner etc) so why can't we?

Oh of course-youth can't be trusted. Silly me.
