Not sure Froch v Groves is one of the biggest events in English sporting history.

How many hundreds of football matches have had higher attendances? Every England rugby union game at Twickenham sells 82,000 tickets, plus 83,000 for a club game at Wembley a couple of years back. Dozens of Rugby League Challenge Cup finals etc.

130,000 for the Derby, 250,000 for the London Marathon, 120,000 for the British Grand Prix, dozens of Olympic events... I could go on!

It's an amazing attendance for boxing but probably not in the top 500 sporting attendances in this country.
