I don't get this argument

Is a player going to choose (say) Brigthton over us just because (say) Mackay might be their manager?

Or is a player going to pick the club that he thinks is going to (a) pay him the most (b) play him the most and (c) give him the best opportunity of a bigger pay packet with the next transfer/contract renewal?

If a player isn't attracted to Norwich because of the club, it's wage structure, location and league potential, then they're not going to be attacted to us whether we have Adams, Mackay, Lennon or Zola as the manager.

We're not going to be signing players that are so good they can afford to pick and choose which manager they want to work with - we're going to be signing players for who playing for a decent Champuionship club at all is going to be a Big Thing for their careers. Who the manager is (and that pedigree they have) will be the icing on the cake.
