Plus in 2000 we had low crowds (needed 16,000 per week to break even if I recall, and pretty much only got that for local derbies and 'kids for a quid' nights) and a delapidated stand that badly needed replacing.

Pretty much everything about the club is in a better state (although the internet has tended to make the fanbase more vociferously grouchy)
