I was another who wouldn't have touched him with a barge pole in the Premier.

He knows the championship well though and has had success. If you look at this seasons championship top six they are all fairly experienced managers. (Pearson, Dyche, Mclaren, Redknapp, Rosler, Garcia)

and Adkins who just missed out

That will be vital.

Certainly wouldn't gamble with Adams again
