Pro's for going down
Will be nice to go into away games trying to win, rather than hope it's not too embarrassing, so lets play for a nil-nil and not get into the oppositions half.
Will be nice to win more than two away games all season
Have two trophies to try and win rather than none.
Can put some effort into the cups rather than put all our efforts into the league, It's never really helped us whereas Sunderland have a Wembley appearance and a Semi under their belt (oh err) this season, however, look at Portsmouth and Birmingham
What's the point of saying we are Premier League if all that means is Man City put 7 past us.
No more Suarez.
We never had a Premiership squad, it was our team spirit that helped us along (That Houghton Destroyed/got rid of), so as long as we don't lose too many we could be in a good position to bounce back, a few good editions and a few from the youth team and we have a strong squad, made all the better by...
Wiping out our debt, if you look at Portsmouth, Bradford, Wolves, Ipswich all put too much money into trying to stay in the Premiership and it's all backfired horribly, so all this sack the board nonsense is so wrong - Yes they hired the wrong man, yes they stuck by him for too long, but they put the finances ahead of risking the long term future of the club and I for one am pleased, when you hear about Everton, Fulham, Villa going to Pay Day loan companies to fund their season, I'm pleased that we don't have people in charge putting us in that kind of risk. We are in a better position than Fulham for a start.
I can get to more away games
Tickets will be cheaper.
If the last two seasons are what Norwich City are going to put the fans through then I'm glad we aren't there any more. Coz I struggled to take the last few weeks of last season whereby it wasn't until the WBA game that we were safe (But remember we overachieved "thanks" to Houghton according to the "experts") and the last seven weeks of this season.
More meaningful games i.e Wolves, Ipswich, Leeds.
Any I've missed?, because having said all that, I just want to still be in the Premiership and have all that money to improve the squad and I'm trying to not be too down about the inevitable.
