Yep I followed both teams as a boy and Kenny Dalglish was my hero. I just didn't get to go to CR regularly back then - my dad worked Saturdays and not sure he really fancied it anyway.

When I was 13 and started going independently with friends,everything changed. I have a friend to thank who had a season ticket with his Dad - but the latter was in Canada a lot so I went to loads of games for nothing

Once you start getting to go to games regularly it just changes everything.

That was 30 years ago. :)
