One good reason

He played the kind of football that made Norwich a delight to watch. In fact, Martin Peters aside, Chippy *is* Norwich City to me. He's the reason I not only love the club, but I'm PROUD of the fact.

So I'd rather a Chippyesque player became our manager than a clodhopping central defender known, if at all, as a journeyman with not an ounce of flair. Like, oh, to pull a name out of the ether, Nigel Worthington.

Oh, and it turns out he's been a successful coach and manager for the last few years. Which would also be nice. He's funny. And his wife comes from Norfolk so they'd be happy to settle down.

OK, several reasons.
