I have a little sympathy for him

because we simply don't play the type of passes he needs. I do see him making runs and calling for the ball, but it simply never arrives. All of our build-up play is focused on getting the ball wide. Quite why, when our crossing is s**t, and almost always delayed by cutting inside, is beyond me. And when we do put a decent ball in, there's only ever one striker against three defenders anyway, barring the odd incursion at the back post from Snod.

But yes, he has been completely crap.
