In that last day I was delighted we finished 11th and also at the extra money it brought in.

I certainly don't want us to lose or finish lower. I'm just saying I don't think the 11th placed finish should carry the kind of weight in deciding on Hughton's future that Mcnally implied. I don't think the fact we finished 11th is indicative of him being a talented manager. I think the fact we stayed up shows he did an acceptable job and he does get credit for that. That's why people were prepared to give him time this season to show things were evolving. Trouble is the board still seem to be doing that whilst time us running out very fast.

I can't work out from that interview whether Hughton is here for the season regardless now or will be out if we lose our next game but one way or another they need to make a decision and stick to it before its too late.
