Sad state of affairs

I was driving through the fine city today and could not help but notice the amount of people wearing ncfc merchandise. It made me think that there are so many people who want the team to do well and are proud to support the club yet somehow the atmosphere at home games is currently flatter than a a week old bit of road kill on the A47.
Surely regardless of whether or not the board feel Hughton is the right man for the job they must be concerned about the lack of atmosphere and general feeling around the stadium on a match day. All the signs are there, fans singing for players not playing, fans having a go at players that are playing etc etc.
for me it's become a chore watching games, before every home game I say to myself be positive and get behind the team yet by half time I've had all energy and passion sucked out of me and I know I'm not the only one. It feels a lifetime ago that the stadium was last really really bouncing and i just can't see it happening again for some time. We are stuck in a rut and we don't seem to be able to get out of it.
