when my daughter gets us to spend 30 quid on a new toy for xmas...

and by new years day has only played with it once, and wants a new toy - we refuse and make her play with the one we already spent the money on.

think hughton/mcnally probably realise they bought a dud, but hard to justify replacing him so early on.
