Call it desperate measures if you like. That's how it's become for the bottom half of the Prem these days.

A sad indictment on the game. Money has removed the level playing field, and turned something that was an entertainment industry in to a hard-nosed business. That's why the England national team will continue to suffer because the guardians of the game in Britain are ONLY concerned about protecting the sacred brand... the cash cow that is the Premier League.
