Sense does tell you (and as the Aussie cricketerererererers have ably demonstrated against England) the best form of defence is to attack. Defend, block, hang on.... you'll eventually come unstuck. However, whilst we keep our heads above the regulation zone, then CH will remain in a job. He's currently doing what's being asked of him, keeping Norwich in the Premier League. The style in which he goes about that may be hugely frustrating and unpopular, but at present it's working.
