Not that it makes matters any more palatable in our own situation, but that is the bigger picture in all of this.

Every other manager change in the Prem has been made for one reason, and one reason only... to keep their new club in the BPL. Substance over style every time. It's a sad fact of the modern game. A game of just hanging on in there. If you dance with devil, you dance to their tune.
