Fortunate wins against poor teams

And in which we actually had alarmingly poor possession stats. You cannot regularly have under 40% possession and win premier league games unless you are fantastic on the counter attack. We are not. He got away with it v West Ham and Palace because they can't score goals but frankly in the former his decision to play 4 v 6 in midfield was highly questionable and it was similarly obvious that we would get (and were getting) outnumbered in midfield yesterday. I accept that many have called for 4-4-2 but I don't agree with them and I think Hoots switch to the formation to save his own skin is another sign of weak management.

Having said that a form of 4-4-2 could probably work if employed flexibly but the problem is nothing Hoot does allows for fkexibility.
