Everyone can be a smartarse with 20/20 vision however, I don't think I was alone in thinking that leaving twitter without a word, when it had become an established communication channel between club and supporters, was quite an odd thing for the Chief Executive to do.
When celebrities have left twitter in the past (for whatever reason) it has been news. I was interested in why Archant DIDN'T consider it news and asked them.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, I have no rumours or gossip. However the whole thing WAS a little strange. He didn't just stop tweeting - he shut down his account and with no answers still from club or McNally himself regarding his absence and return, it remains a strange episode, no matter how easy it is to say it was entirely meaningless.
