What sort of music is he into?

I splashed out on a Tokai Strat copy and to be honest they are better than the Japanese Fenders IMO. I've now got a Gibson Les Paul Custom which kicks arse but is a heavy guitar.

I'd buy a decent replica of a classic axe and see how he gets on.
