the determination of whether someone is 'good enoiugh' depends hugely, if not totally, on the quality of players they are competing with for a place. The worse those players are the more likely the youngster ois going to be deemed to be 'good enough'. 'Good enough' means as good as or better than the other players you have who play in that position.
