makes me wonder. If we pursued this guy for as long as we did and paid as much as we did, surely the coaching staff knew exactly what sort of a player he was and how they intended to use him.
Mick Dennis says he must attack crosses and not wait for them. Hmmm.. difficult to attack loopy crosses swinging into the keeper (because of CH's 'wrong-footed winger policy') when you're about 5'8".
The latest example of CH's over-cautious approach is his response to Murphy's debut 'He's not ready yet' etc Lots of players of that age burst onto the scene. There's only one way to find out if he's ready, isn't there?
