its all in perceived context.....

when BGH used thw walsall argument, its really to remind people that the same accelerated success enjoyed since league one cant be continuous in the prem and that people have to accept that in the prem to build on success takes far more time, due to the quality and the money sums involved.....

I really cant see what the problem is using the "walsall argument" - it IS valid.

No different to a small corner shop having rapid growth in T/O, ivesting to more shops, eventually trying to compete against the major supermarkets......success rate will slow against major stalwart entrenched big money competition.....
