I had that day off.

Spent most of it in the garden as there was a mountain of stuff to do, I had no idea what had happened until I came in after a few hours of work.

At the time I worked for a London branch of a company located in NY so there was quite a bit of panic as a few people who were sadly in the wrong place at the wrong time lost their lives that day.
