pay to be entertained

But do people pay to be entertained? It would be nice but real fans pay hoping to see wins. Surely that's the driving force?. You pay to be entertained if you are a neutral. As i did few years back when i sat in rain watching Nigeria 2-2 Japan. Granted we aren't winning yet either but....
