Why is everyone SO obsessed by what CH says in press conferences?

Football Managers talk more s**t than any other profession, why does anyone really care if Hughton doesn't want to offend a rival manager. Do you really think the players would read an article and go "ooh well if the gaffer thinks Fulham are good, then we'll probably get beaten"..

It's so bloody boring.
