..and the Norwegians and Danish bombed the most targets in Libya in proportion to the number of planes involved.

There's a long list of European countries that stuck their oar in - its probably fair to say on that one that it was more 'our' (Europe's) show than the Yanks, at least in terms of the actual strikes.*

(*not wanting to downplay their role - the vast vast bulk of the in-flight refuelling was done by the Yanks and they also had a heavy front line role, but generally they deliberately wanted to take more of a back seat on that one. )
