Today's match

1st up, went with my bro, niece and nephew. Had a great time. Panathanikos were a replacement, and played like it. The game was slow and we got sucked into their style too often. There was the odd moment where our movement was fantastic, and passing flowed, but they were only glimpses of wat cud be. Defence looked reasonably comfortable, and the CB pairing got better as the game went on. Genuinely don't think Olsson is a winger, but we have depth. Johnson and Tettey bossed the centre of midfield, as u wud hope. Snod was his usual wily self, looked complete with Russ behind him. Hoops started well, and will be marked tightly, but looks as tho he could lose a stone. Second half, with Fer and Whitts making immediate impacts. RVW made some intelligent runs, without getting the ball wen he was clear. You cud tell he was frustrated. Redmond and Benno look lively. The ONE thing that stood out for me today, Wes is clearly not on the same wavelength as the rest of the team. With Johnson, Tettey and Fer looking streets ahead, I'm thinking his days maybe numbered. It is a game of progression, and Wes is just going backwards. At least 4 opportunities to send RVW in space, just ignored him, dribbled and lost it. My feet are firmly on the ground for this season 17th-10th place and i'll be satisfied. COYY!
