You've got a guy on the last year of his contract, supposedly desperate to play in the premier league. The prem team offers four mil, the chump team offers 4.5 + add-ons. If Hooper was that desperate to play in the prem he could dig his heels in and Celtic will be faced with losing the player for nothing in twelve months. For the sake of losing half a mill now or four mil in twelve months, I'm pretty sure they'd accept our bid. It all smells of a lack of ambition from Hooper and the smell of money for his agent.
