Nobody wants to spend money until after the elections. Everyone is hoping Tony Abbott gets in as he claimed he'll get rid of it. The need to do something though. The whole of Australian infrastructure is built on funds from mining activities. A lot of people have been put out of work. Those of us that are left are either very lucky or highly thought of, who knows which?
