Well, you could do 50% further on a single run.

But then do fewer runs in the week.

To be honest, if you're doing 10 miles or fewer a week, you might as well ignore the 10% thing.

Plus, everyone's physiology is different, and if you over-do it your body will tell you. Suck it and see.
