which is a shame because our transfer policy becomes ever more inexplicable. It's not that long ago that the hypocritical coward was telling us that Charlton was preferred to JJ because both JJ and Hughesy were midfield players who liked to get forward and couldn't be accomodated together in central midfield.
So now he has signed Etuhu, who is,er, a central midfield player who likes to get forward.
Don't get me wrong, I think Etuhu may be a good signing, but from his public pronouncements it would appear unjustifiable by the manager. In other words a transfer for the sake of a transfer.
And we still have no-one to play wide right.
