The argument was always that the tactics were poor against the bottom half sides

and I'm not sure why anybody would argue about Hughton's tactics against the top five...We did beat United and Arsenal earlier this season, while also drawing at White Hart Lane.

The issue with the tactics came when we started drawing against sides like WHU, QPR, Toon, Fulham, etc at home. We should really attack sides like that in all honesty. There are far more of those sides than the big five and that's where we should be looking to pick up more points.
