Why the assumption Becchio is likely to be off?

He got a 3 year contract and we got him for almost nothing if the reports of the swap plus pocket change with Moro are to be believed. More than adequate 4th striker! Jacko will be off, Martin already gone, Ricky incoming, just need an alternative to Ricky surely?
