Go hoppy with a curry bare, not malty!
I love a good choccy stout or porter as much as the next man, in fact more than quite a lot of next men, I'd wager. But the flavour complements between a nice curry and a hoppy ale like Thornbridge's Jaipur, Magic Rock's Cannonball or Dark Star's Hophead is just glorious.
Or Brewdog's Punk IPA.
