Which has been another problem this season...

We haven't changed the tactics/system this season when things haven't been working.

Last season the attacking players were always used suitably, whether that involved dropping Holt and playing Moro with two wingers when needing more bodies in midfield, playing both together against Newcastle when they had their cb's all injured, playing the diamond and outplaying teams who were poor at retaining the ball or even sitting deep against the tougher sides.

The tactics would often change from game to game, not just in games. Lambert knew how to get the best out of our attacking players. That hasn't happened this season because we tend to just sit back with the same tactics week in week out without any rhyme or reason, regardless of the opposition. Reading was an exception but there was no excuse not to go for the win.
