Desperately need to find a midfielder capable of playing in a two alonside
Johnson or Tettey.
We got away with it yesterday as we were playing Reading who are sh*t but a central midfield combo of Howson and Johnson in a 4-4-2 is not good enough at this level and as a result we didnt retain possession well enough. It relies on both having a blinder and Howson did for 20 minutes or so second half but he can also go missing at times and we can't afford that.
Regret and Johnson as a combo can do a job defensively in the 4-2-3-1 formation but again in a 4-4-2 is not great as neither is particularly creative.
